Feral: A Warriors 3D MORPG

Feral is a realistic Warrior Cats MORPG that focuses on the realism and hardships of living in the wild. With many markings, plenty of features to vary, a large variety of wildlife, and realistic graphics makes this game something to look forward to.


There will be 100+ markings for you to choose from with the ability of layering up to 5 markings to your cat along with many customization options. That way everyone can have their own unique cat! You'll be able to customize your cat's eyes, muzzle, ears, body type and size, weight, height, length, tail length, claw size, paw size, and much,much more. You can also have disabilities such as a missing eye, limb, ear etc. There will be a in-game aging a time system where every 2 weeks IRL your cat ages up a moon. Your cat will have 5 chances to respawn before they officially die and once your cat dies you'll have the choice of either playing as them in StarClan/Dark forest or deleting them.



You will be able to hunt live animals, that will respond to you. There will be a large variety of different prey you can hunt depending on which territory you're in and there will be more than just the ordinary prey than what is in the books! Other cats as well as other animals will be able to attack you. Your cat could earn scars from battle, lose an eye or limb or even die, but it won't be too graphic where you see guts spilling out and such. There will be stats such as stamina, speed, strength etc. that you can upgrade. For example if you have your cat run alot, then over time your cat's max speed and stamina will start to increase.

!! This is super awesome, and I'm really excited to see your progress on this project!
I noticed/assume that is Blender your using? Will you also be using it's game engine or nah? Asking because I haven't noticed many games making use of it, and end up with Unity instead - which does have a TON of potential. It'll turn out great either way.
In any case, if you are ever looking for help/staffing is open, hey, message me. lol.
Curious, is the black squirrel stylized or just going to be pretty teeny in-game?
And will there be fur customization, such as fluffy/long-coat, etc? Or just one type of model with various other features you can change?

Yup, this is blender, but I wont be using it's game engine. I have no idea how to use it xD I use Unreal Engine 4.

Game designer and moderator positions are indeed open if you're interested I'm not sure what you mean by stylized owo if you mean if it'll come in different colors then yes it will and yeah it'll be pretty small xD which is why I didnt put too much details and work into it. No point if players are not gonna see it up close. There wont be actually fur or tufts, but there will be different fur textures to choose from, though adjusting the body sliders with the right fur texturecan make your cat appear fluffy ouo So far the texture options are short, medium, long, curl, tangled, and furless c:

Stylized was in reference to the lack of details, but I do see your point then.
Got it, awesome stuff. Fur/Tufts can be a mess in 3D and take a lot to make look good, but thought I'd breach the question since it was there! I'm sure textures will do plenty in terms of making the cats' customization big enough for players to enjoy, the selection you've presented already is excellent.

I was never a fan of tufts in the first place. I think it was because Feralheart's were so awful xD plus they dont really fit in with the realistic them we're aiming for.

Agreed. FeralHeart ended up being rubbish, and it's kind of sad. There was a TON of potential there.. Wasted. But yeah, tufts in general wouldn't be realistic for domestic cats / not big cats.

I really like the "baleful expression" of the cat in the idle crouch scene. Nice work so far! I'd love to see more once your project develops more!

On another note, it's interesting that there are rumors of multiple 3D Warriors-inspired game projects in the works that plan to showcase more or less similar themes and basic features, but most of them are still in the beginning stages (Moonrise and Attica are the main ones I'm referring to, though I've heard of at least one other one; this is the first time I've heard of your game). In any case, it looks good so far! Keep up the good work!

Ah yeah, I've known of Moonrise and Attica for ahwile, though I think Attica stepped away from the theme of Warriors. Well I believe they're similar because they're all realistic and really these are features you kinda expect from a Warriors game, such as hunting and fighting systems imo ;o; With Attica being in hiatus and Moonrise not really satisfying me with some of the ways they have executing their ideas, I decided to go ahead and try at my own game.
